TV: Celine Dion cries out for help for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Celine went off yelling/crying on CNN Larry King LIVE: "The US can go to other countries and bomb them - but we can't go to New Orleans and drop them food?" "People are complaining about looting for food and water -- or even a TV - who cares if they take a TV??? These people have been poor all their life - let them have that ONE moment of touching what they've never had!"

Larry King kept on saying that she gave one million dollars - Celine says: "So what i gave money -- the people are not going to see that money till three months from now. They need help now! Everybody here is giving excuses and I'm tired of it. I don't want to talk about money!" She said sooooo much -- of course they didnt cut her off like Kanye West.

  • Although Celine's gesture of a million dollars and outcry was well meant she is not an American so she can't talk bad about the US.

It was funny that you posted it though.

  • What the hell is going on with you Amarican? You alway felt as
if you're kind of special or unreacable!
Or better to say it seems as if it's so!
If someone wants to represent his opinion it's ALWAYS allowed for him to do this!!! Which country ever he or she's from!!! But please, think of your Mr.Bush, he also used to catch into other countries matters! How the hell is this to excuse? Please explain?!

  • And additionally! I didn't mention that you said: "she can't talk bad about the US",!
By thinking about this i just can feel mercy for you and all of them who're thinking the same way like you!
We're in a free democracy world? Aren't we? ... Everyone is allowed to talk BAD about your country, the US. With a government for which it's possible to fight maybe 3 wars at the same time but which isn't able to help people who are in danger and wo're scared to death!!! Should we say "oh well, you're doing a good job!" ? No way!
