Stay Close

Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays has enlisted the help of some high-caliber celebs for its latest advertising campaign.

Not surprisingly, gay civil rights advocate CYNDI LAUPER and her sister, Elen (below), appear in an ad together , proving that Mommy and Daddy Lauper aren’t fond of traditional name spellings.

Also part of the publicity push are BEN AFFLECK and his gay cousin, Jason (above); Spanish language talk show giant CRISTINA SARALEGUI and her brother, Ignacio; singer and gay icon BARBARA COOK and her son, Adam; U.S. Rep. GREGORY MEEKS (D-N.Y.) and his brother, John (above); and U.S. Rep. DICK GEPHARDT (D-Mo.), his wife, Jane, and their daughter, Chrissy.

Called Stay Close, the ads (already seen on billboards in D.C. and New York) depict celebrities with their gay family members.
